Welcome to the website for the Glenn Highway: Arctic Avenue to Palmer-Fishhook Road Safety and Capacity Improvements Project (AA2PF)!  

This project is focused on the section of the Glenn Highway between Arctic Avenue and Palmer-Fishhook Road where the highway leaves downtown Palmer and ascends the Matanuska River bluffs. Visit the project description page for details.

We’re just getting started! This website will be populated as the project evolves. We hope you’ll sign up for our email list to receive project updates. 

We are working behind the scenes, gathering data, studying traffic, developing design variants for intersections, non-motorized pathways, highway barrier types, and more. Now we’re preparing for our June 2026 public meeting!
