Seward MP 14 Rehabilitation Project

Public Involvement

The Glenn Highway: Arctic Avenue to Palmer-Fishhook (AA2PF) project team publicly kicked the project off on March 18, 2025, with its first public meeting. At this meeting, we asked the public to help identify problem areas and share their experiences so our team can come up with solutions to make the corridor more efficient and safer for all users.

The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Class of Action is an Environmental Assessment (EA). For more information about the NEPA review process, please visit National Environmental Policy Act Review Process | US EPA.

Public input and feedback will help make this project a success. We are currently developing a public involvement plan and will publish the completed document soon!

A Matanuska-Susitna DOT&PF Transportation Fair that featured over 100 road, rail, pedestrian, air, and safety projects and programs.
A public meeting to launch the project, share its purpose and gather public input on problem areas within the corridor before design begins.
